John here. This has been a hard year. For a lot of folks, it feels like the ground keeps shifting under our feet. 😔

Five months ago, Trump signed Republicans’ Big Ugly Bill: Medicaid slashed to pay for tax cuts for the wealthy. Hospitals closing. Seniors pushed out of nursing homes. Millions set to lose care.

Then, Trump told Republicans to let the Obamacare subsidies expire. No reason. Premiums shot up. People are losing coverage. That wasn’t a mistake. It was a choice.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration has closed Social Security offices and cut staff. And the Treasury secretary admitted they’re working on a “backdoor” plan to privatize Social Security.

And while he holds back funding for veterans and cancer research, Trump says the affordability crisis is a “hoax.” Tell that to families paying more at the grocery store. Folks feel it every week.

Trump isn’t fighting for working families. He’s stripping the government for parts and selling them off to his rich friends.

Long story short, that’s why we need to start preparing for the 2026 midterms now.
