Hi John — Zoe here.

In Indiana County, Pennsylvania, volunteers covered a week of shifts at the county fair.

In Gaston County, North Carolina, volunteers divided up outreach and called potential candidates.

In Ashtabula County, Ohio, volunteers staff a year-round Democratic Party office.

That's organizing capacity. These counties built it with Contest Every Race support. Most local Democratic Parties can't build it alone.

We’re two days from our end-of-year deadline, and the resources we raise now will determine the strength of local organizing in 2026. Will you support Contest Every Race today so we can build this kind of volunteer infrastructure everywhere? [[link removed]]

In 2025, more than 11,000 new people volunteered with local parties in our grants program. But enthusiasm alone doesn't create capacity, especially in places that national campaigns overlook.

Without real infrastructure, volunteer energy burns out, and the work falls back on one or two exhausted leaders. Contest Every Race changes that by giving local parties the structure to share work, sustain follow-up, and keep organizing going year-round.

Capacity isn’t built overnight. If county parties don’t have the support to organize now, they don’t magically catch up later. This is the window to build teams that last.

With just two days left before our deadline, will you donate $5 today to help us build organizing capacity everywhere? [[link removed]]
