I’m reaching out personally to invite you to something really special: my 2026 Re-Election Campaign Kick-Off on Thursday, January 29th at 5:30pm. [[link removed]] This will be the moment we officially launch our final campaign for the state legislature, and I’d love for you to be there with us.
When I first ran for office, I did it because I believed that government should work for everyday people, not special interests. Since then, we’ve delivered real progress: investing in public schools and providing free breakfast and lunch for all students, raising wages and protecting workers by repealing Right to Work, investing in our local infrastructure, and providing common sense, bipartisan solutions to real problems. My goal has always been to make Michigan a better place to raise a family – and make life more affordable for everyone. None of that happens by accident. It happens because people like you believe in our shared mission and show up to support our work.

This kickoff is a chance for us to come together, reflect on what we’ve achieved, and set our sights on what comes next. It’s been my honor to represent our neighbors across Downriver and Western Wayne County, and I’m hoping you’ll give me the chance at one final term in the State Senate. With the stakes higher than ever in 2026, building early momentum is critical. The work we do now — the energy we build, the resources we raise, and the people we bring together — will shape the outcome of this campaign and the future of our communities for years to come.
