Hi John,
As we close out the year, I want to share a story that has stayed with me—one that truly reflects the impact your generosity has on the lives of the Service Members and Veterans we serve.
The truth is, unexpected events can change everything. None of us know when life might shift in ways we never saw coming—and many of the Veterans who come to us never imagined they would need help.
Earlier this year, a Veteran named John arrived at one of our food distributions after facing a series of life-altering challenges. He shared:
“After becoming seriously ill, suffering a stroke, and losing my job, everything changed. I went from living to merely existing and didn’t know how I’d keep up with bills or put food on the table. I found Soldiers’ Angels during a visit to the VA, and it truly felt God-sent. The food distribution program is organized, the food is fresh, and the support makes a huge difference for my family. We could never afford these items on our own. Thank you, Soldiers’ Angels.”
