We know you’ve heard from us plenty in the past week, and you’re probably wondering why we’re reaching out again, so please, give us a chance to explain why your contribution today is so crucial.

December marks another Federal Election Commission deadline month – which means that at midnight on December 31st, we close the books for the quarter. Then we’ll be required to report how much money we raised over the last three months and over the course of the entire year. Then those fundraising numbers will be public.

And frankly, this is our most important FEC deadline yet.

Senator Warner is leading the fight in Washington to speak out against the Trump administration’s corruption. He’s also speaking out against his Republican colleagues who continue to stay silent while Trump’s actions hurt our freedoms, our safety, and our pocket books.

That means that he could very well be a top Republican target in next year’s election. So you better bet that they will be watching our fundraising numbers like a hawk. If they see any sign of weakness, they’ll jump at the opportunity to spend big in the Commonwealth to defeat Mark and expand their power in Washington.

Demonstrating strength during our final FEC deadline before we enter the election year is key to our success at the ballot box. But to do that, we need to hit our fundraising benchmarks. And to be completely transparent, right now we’re falling behind our $250,000 goal. We can turn things around, but it’s going to take action from grassroots supporters like you.
