A few days ago, Gov. Hochul signed my RAISE Act into law!

I'm incredibly proud to say that we beat Big Tech and got the strongest AI Safety law anywhere in the country passed. This is one of the hardest pieces of legislation I have ever worked on, and I'm so excited to ring in the new year by toasting our new bill.

However, if we want to keep the good times rolling into 2026, I need your help addressing some not-so-good news…⬇️

Our End of Year Fundraising Deadline is coming up on Wednesday, and we need to raise $2,317 more to reach our Goal!

This deadline is incredibly important for our campaign. It's the last internal fundraising deadline we have before our big January Matching Deadline — and that deadline is going to be the most important one of our campaign so far.

The January Matching Deadline is the first time your small dollar donations will be matched 12x by the state. But to make sure we can maximize your impact, we have to reach our End of Year Goal this week.

Andrew Gounardes is a champion for the working class and middle class families that are the backbone of New York.

He’s passed more than 100 bills into law, including legislation to protect kids from harmful social media algorithms, close a loophole in the state’s wage theft law, strengthen payment protections for freelance workers, expand the life-saving school zone speed camera program, guarantee family death benefits for public workers who died from Covid-19, and help secure and expand benefits for 9/11 responders.

He is working to help make college more affordable for New York students, dismantle the legal protections that allow perpetrators of workplace harassment and discrimination to prey on vulnerable workers, tackle the housing crisis by making it easier to build more affordable housing, and as a daily transit rider, fighting to improve the reliability, accessibility, and accountability of the MTA for all New Yorkers.
