John, Wow, what a year. 2025 was filled with chaos and constantly shifting priorities to confront new challenges like a game of whack-a-mole. But it was also a year full of determination, resilience, and—against all odds—progress. [ [link removed] ]Can you make a donation today to help us maintain our momentum in 2026? The team of attorneys and policy experts at GIFFORDS Law Center came into the year with a plan (or as much of a plan as you can have with this administration). And they went above and beyond in our fight to secure a safer future, free from gun violence. We challenged the gun lobby in courts across the country. We helped draft and testify on behalf of gun safety laws in a number of states. We supported local and state groups impacted by federal funding cuts, especially in the community violence field. And we stood up to the Trump administration as it attempted to undo all the gun safety progress we’ve made over the last few years. All of this work, and all of the lives saved? It’s only possible because of you. [ [link removed] ]We need your help as we continue to fight for a safer America. Please chip in to GIFFORDS Law Center before the end of the year. I also know that we are well-prepared for what the future has in store. And, above everything else, I know one person we all to look to on tough days: our leader, Gabby Giffords. I get to see Gabby meet people all over the country who are new to our work but are stepping up to ensure that kids aren’t shot in classrooms and we can each live without fear. Ending gun violence in America will take each and every one of us—and I’m looking forward to the fight ahead. Warm wishes, Emma -- Emma Brown Executive Director GIFFORDS Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence PS: [ [link removed] ]See if your employer will match your gift to GIFFORDS Law Center before the end of the year. Your contribution can go twice as far!
