As we reach the end of the year, I want to thank you for being part of the Anne Frank Center USA community. I’d love to share one moment from 2025 that truly captures why this mission matters.

This fall in Pittsburgh, we partnered with Classrooms Without Borders and The Hear Foundation to present Letters From Anne and Martin at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center. After the performance, community leader Leon Ford – whose life’s work centers on healing, connection, and courage – shared a message that deeply moved the audience:

“We are not disconnected. We are very much connected. And the more we show up for one another, the more we feel that truth.”

Students and educators told us afterward that the experience changed the way they saw themselves, their community, and the power they hold to stand against hate.

Moments like this are what we strive to create in schools across the country—and the demand for our programs is growing faster than our current resources allow.

Teachers are asking for help—tools to address rising antisemitism, polarization, and fear with empathy, courage, and real-world understanding.
