As we approach the end of the year, I’ve been thinking a lot about what resilience has meant in my life.

It meant being able to start over.

It meant finding safety.

It meant discovering that compassion and success can exist together — and that I could build a life rooted in both.

Immigration Equality didn’t just help me through a legal process. They helped me become the version of myself I’d always hoped I could be.

There are so many LGBTQ and HIV-positive immigrants who deserve that same chance, and your support makes it possible. So far, we’ve raised $16,500 and we’re at 55% of our campaign target.
