As a doctor, I know firsthand how the Affordable Care Act (ACA) was a game changer for millions of Americans.
For far too long, millions of Americans couldn’t go to the doctor due to high costs — and those with pre-existing conditions were routinely denied coverage.
That all changed thanks to the ACA. Now, over 20 million Americans, including those with pre-existing conditions, gained access to affordable health care.
But Republican leaders are still trying to dismantle it.
If we don’t take back the House majority, the ACA, Medicare, and reproductive rights will continue to be ripped apart by President Trump and his Republican allies in Congress.
