This December John and the team didn’t waste a single minute ensuring Team Rose was represented at any and all events they could reach! John kicked off December with Speaker Johnson and other Republicans, supporting Matt Van Epps for Tennessee’s 7th Congressional district—congratulations Congressman Van Epps! Days later, Chelsea spoke on behalf of John at a Smith County GOP event featuring Senator Paul Bailey, Mayor Jeff Mason, and candidates for Tennessee’s 6th Congressional district—my current seat. That same day, John ran into some familiar West Tennessee faces at our nation’s Capitol. Nothing like showing folks back home how the sausage is made!

Team Rose had the honor of representing John at Republican Women of Rutherford County’s Christmas Gala and hanging out with one of Tennessee’s finest State Senators, Shane Reeves! As Governor, one of John’s main priorities is protecting the 2nd Amendment and making Tennessee a TRUE Constitutional Carry state. Thank you to Bullseye Gun & Range for letting John stop by! Another priority for John will be making sure no Tennessean has to be more than 30 minutes to life-saving, emergency care. John had a very productive conversation with Chancellor Buckley and David Mills at the UT Health Science Center in Memphis where they discussed keeping Tennesseans healthy.

Whether it’s a local event or someone’s home, John loves hearing what voters have to say on their own turf. Recently, John had the opportunity to speak at a meet-and-greet in Shelby County. To kick off the Christmas season, John, Chelsea, and Sam cheered on Guy at his school’s 2nd grade Christmas program. A couple of days later, the Rose family had the honor of attending the White House Christmas Party in DC with President Trump and the First Lady. They even got to catch up with Karoline Leavitt.

Life is precious and given by God. As Governor of Tennessee, John will never compromise on the issue of life. It breaks his heart to think of the millions of lives that were ended in the womb through abortion. John has and will always stand up for the innocent unborn and he'll do it as your Governor.
