Yet another tragedy just struck at a for-profit ICE processing center.
Another person lost their life in custody.

The warning signs were impossible to ignore: freezing temperatures, meager
meals, filthy bathrooms, and blocked access to medical care. Rep. Rashida
Tlaib’s recent oversight visit uncovered even more horrors – multiple
suicide attempts, desperate pleas for health care, and a dangerous
shortage of medical staff.

No human being deserves to suffer behind bars, trapped in cages or torn
from their family.
