John, 2025 has been one for the books:

We have not received assurances from the Trump Administration that they will stay out of state-run elections.

We’ve seen federal agencies that once protected election security weakened.

We’ve seen renewed attempts to undermine faith in vote-by-mail.

And we’ve seen sweeping demands for sensitive voter data that have no legal basis.

None of this guarantees interference. But it requires preparation.

Minnesota is working with other states to defend against every possible threat to the freedom to vote. That takes planning, resources, and public trust.
