John,
Phyllis Schlafly was a conservative power broker whose anti-feminist
organizing opposing the ERA helped build the grassroots machinery and
backlash politics that later evolved into today’s MAGA movement.
She built a national career while telling women to stay home. She earned
advanced education, ran organizations, and chased power, all while
attacking feminism. She used her organization clubs to train operatives,
steer primaries, and harden the modern conservative movement against
women’s rights.
Sound familiar?
Erika Kirk is following the same playbook. She holds advanced degrees. She
seeks political power. She argues women should accept less freedom, less
control, and less choice. She benefits from the doors feminism opened,
then works to slam them shut behind her.
This pattern is not irony. It is strategy. Project 2025 calls for the
death of feminism as a necessary component of its success. They know that
the strategy of women making this attack on feminism helped reshape their
party once. It can do it again if we ignore it.
Free America means we name attacks on feminism early.
Free Bodies.
Free Choice.
Free Democracy.
Free Communities.
Free Women.
Free America.
We refuse to let lean-in authoritarianism fuel the rollback of women’s
freedom again.

they reshape the country again.
