I have learned to listen deeply to the wisdom that rests in
this quiet window between what has been and what has not yet
arrived. For it is in these days that sit outside of time and
space that we are able to communicate with the unseen realm and
receive guidance on how to move through the liminal.
So this morning I pulled from my favorite oracle deck, BETWEEN
WORLDS ( [link removed] ) (designed and channeled
by my dear friend Ryan Lemere) and received the following map for
how to navigate this sacred in-between:
VALLEY OF THE QUEST: This marks the beginning of the heroine's
journey (one that is cyclical not linear). It is invoked by the
call of deep purpose that compels us to go where we have not gone
before, to embrace the unfamiliar, to risk everything for the
possibility of freedom. This is the beginning of everything and
should be met with curiosity and compassion.
SURRENDER (UPSIDE DOWN): I realized this year that I've been
navigating a series of near-death experiences - never all the way
giving in to surrender like I'm hanging by a ledge terrified to
let go. This card is a reminder that only through death can we be
reborn. It asks "what are you afraid of?" and "what happens if
you just let go?"
TRIUMPH: The triumph card isn't about winning, it's about rising
from the ashes. It is who we are after the final layer of skin
has been shed and we are emerging into new, unknown worlds. This
is a foreshadowing of what is possible when we choose a new way
(Valley of the Quest) and let our selves go completely
(Surrender) to the great mystery of what is already unfolding.

Here are some frequently asked questions about the EMERGE
Home Retreat:
Q. How is this different from an "away" retreat?
A. This "home retreat" is designed to be affordable, accessible
and transformative for anyone wishing to integrate self-care into
their lives. Programming is designed to meet you where you are
and adjust to YOUR lifestyle. The purpose for this is so that we
can cultivate for ourselves a practice that can become integrated
into our everyday throughout the year.
Q. What will I leave with?
A. This retreat is designed to guide you through detox of the
body, mind and soul. To do that, we will journey through a chakra
cleanse that tends to the parts of us that are out of balance and
unreconciled. Through movement, meditation, self-inquiry,
community collaboration and self care rituals, we will let go of
whatever is in the way of our growth and design a routine that is
open to possibility. You will leave clear, refreshed, and ready
for what's next.
Q. What will the practice be like?
A. Practice is like preparation and priming for how we show up in
our lives. It builds a capacity to play big and be courageous in
the face of whatever life has to throw at us. All practices are
customized to support the theme of that day so that your body and
mind are getting the preparation for it needs for you to show up
creative and confident in your everyday life. Daily practice will
be taught by Kerri and will be a combination of movement and
meditation (duration 30-45 minutes).
Q. What can I expect from the coaching and catalyst tools?
A. The "tools" we compliment our daily practice and theme. They
are intended to guide you through a journey from presence to
reconciliation to purpose to creation. Throughout the retreat,
you will develop a clear assessment of where you are, a distilled
and focus purpose to guide you towards where you are going, the
creativity and capacity to dream big and get creative with your
life, and the commitment/accountability to bring that vision to
life.
