This FEC deadline is uniquely important for our campaign because it will be our first full fundraising quarter since James launched this campaign for U.S. Senate.
First, we outraised the entire field in the first three weeks of the campaign. Now, all eyes are going to be on our movement to see if we’ve been able to maintain that momentum and put Texas in play for Democrats.
December 31st is also the first official deadline since our race changed and got significantly more expensive when Jasmine Crockett joined the field. National Republicans and corporate media pundits tried to write James and this movement off immediately.
So this is our chance to prove to the world that our movement has the resources to compete with all of the corporate cash flooding in for all of our opponents. Their war chests are no match for what we can accomplish with a true people-powered campaign.
Look, there’s almost no chance you woke up saying, “I’m going to donate to James Talarico’s U.S. Senate campaign today.” But that’s what he needs you to do if you can.
