I wanted to personally follow up after my team sent you our
end-of-year memo.
If you read it, you saw the reality: this race is real, competitive,
and winnable. And with new district lines in place, OH-09 IS FINALLY A
SEAT REPUBLICANS CAN FLIP.
But I don’t want you to hear this from strategists or national
committees. _I WANT YOU TO HEAR IT FROM ME_.
I’m running because I’m not a politician — and I’m not
beholden to the system that’s failed Ohio families for decades.
I survived a childhood most people can’t imagine. I served this
country in uniform. I’ve lived the consequences of weak leadership
and broken priorities — and I know exactly what’s at stake when
Washington loses touch with the people it’s supposed to serve.

That’s why I believe I can beat Marcy Kaptur.
After 40 years in Congress, she’s become a reliable vote for her
party — not a fighter for Northwest Ohio. She’s voted with the
same failed leadership that’s driven up costs, weakened our borders,
and left working families behind.
My campaign is focused on three simple pillars:

I love America — not just because I was born here, but because I
know what it’s like to live without freedom.
When I was only 8 years old, I was taken from my home in Ohio and left
behind in Iraq to live under Saddam Hussein’s brutal regime.
OVERNIGHT, I LOST THE FREEDOMS SO MANY OF US TAKE FOR GRANTED AND WAS
FORCED TO LIVE IN A COUNTRY WHERE WOMEN HAD NO RIGHTS, SPEAKING OUT
COULD COST YOU YOUR LIFE, AND YOUR FUTURE WAS NOT YOUR OWN.
When I finally made it back to America at 12 years old, I promised
myself I would give back to the country that never stopped fighting
for me. That’s why, after 9/11, I joined the Air Force.
For over 20 years, I have served this country in the Air Force and
rose to become a lieutenant colonel. I protected America’s interests
abroad, advised senior military leaders, and defended the freedoms too
many take for granted.
