John,
2025 was a historic year for our movement.
Nationally, our membership grew to record-highs, which helped us elect working class champions like Adelita Grijalva in Arizona, Katie Wilson in Seattle, Shenise Turner-Sloss in Dayton, and more.
And in New York specifically, we helped topple a political dynasty by electing Zohran Mamdani, along with WFP mayors in Albany, Buffalo, and Syracuse.
Electing new leaders was the first step, not the last. Now we have to help them govern and deliver on the affordability agenda and improve the lives of working families. In addition, we have more elections to take on in 2026 to keep building power — from congress to the state house. But a strong WFP requires resources to continue to wage big fights. Will you join us?

The path ahead is a crucial one.
Right now, the vast majority of New Yorkers are living paycheck to paycheck, and confronting a worsening affordability crisis every day.
And to make matters worse, Trump has made it a personal mission to punish cities and states that defy him — states like New York.
This moment requires courageous leaders determined to make our home a xxxxxx against the Trump and MAGA regime, AND a place where working families can afford to live and thrive.
That’s why we’ve already endorsed candidates like Brad Lander for Congress who aren't bought by the oligarchy and aren't afraid to challenge the status quo.
But in order to win, we’ll need to once again mobilize organizers, volunteers and invest in key races.
Please pitch in to the New York Working Families Party today. We rely on your support to fuel all the work to build a political system that works for the many, not the few.
In solidarity,
Team NYWFP
