John, This year, our country experienced devastating heartbreak after gun violence ripped through our communities. The horrifying attack on children praying at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis. Parishioners at a church in Grand Rapids, Michigan. And most recently, the tragic shooting at Brown University earlier this month. Not to mention the everyday gun violence that continues to kill 125 people every day and wounds hundreds more. These tragic moments are a reminder of why this work is so important. We must continue to advocate for stronger gun safety bills. We must continue to block reckless gun bills that allow more guns in more places. We must continue to do what we can to save lives.
