Dear Friend,

In this week's roundup: Our economy is growing thanks to Republican policies! That and more – remember to follow my Facebook page by clicking here and my Twitter page by clicking here to stay up-to-date throughout the week!

REPUBLICAN POLICIES ARE DELIVERING STRONG ECONOMIC GROWTH

Our economy GREW 4.3% in the third quarter fueled by consumer confidence!

Americans can expect, on average, $10,000 more in take-home pay next April because Republicans passed the largest tax cuts in U.S. history.

Biden wrecked our economy. President Trump is fixing it!

CONGRATULATIONS TO NORTHWEST IOWA HOG FARMER DWIGHT MOGLER ON BEING APPOINTED TO THE NATIONAL PORK BOARD

I want to congratulate my friend, Iowa hog farmer, and member of my Agriculture Advisory Board — Dwight Mogler — on being appointed to the National Pork Board.

This appointment is a testament to Dwight’s incredible impact on the Iowa pork industry and gives Iowa hog farmers a powerful voice at the national level.

From opening new export markets for Iowa pork to keeping African Swine Fever out of our country, having an Iowan like Dwight on this board is a game changer.

I’ll keep advocating for our hog farmers, strong trade deals, and pork as a healthy part of people’s diet.

SERGEANTS NATE HOWARD AND EDGAR TORRES-TOVAR ARE BACK HOME IN IOWA TO BE LAID TO REST

The other day, fallen Iowa National Guardsmen, Sergeant Nate Howard and Sergeant Edgar Torres-Tovar, were returned to Iowa to be laid to rest.

Our state and nation mourn their loss and honor their incredible sacrifice.

I ask all Iowans to join me in praying for the families and loved ones of Sergeant Howard and Sergeant Torres-Tovar.

ONE LAST THING: THANK YOU TO STORM LAKE EMERGENCY RESPONDERS!

Thank you to a Storm Lake firefighter and police officers for saving the life of a father of four earlier this month.

In Iowa, neighbors look out for neighbors, and in this case, a life was saved!

MY WEEKLY COLUMN: MAKING LIFE MORE AFFORDABLE FOR IOWA FAMILIES

This year, working with President Trump, I was laser-focused on lowering costs for Iowa families, farmers, seniors, workers, and small businesses after four years of the Biden administration’s disastrous economic policies and skyrocketing inflation.

As the only member of Congress serving on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee and the House Agriculture Committee, it was my mission to advance policies that drove economic growth in our communities, helped to create new jobs, and let Iowans keep more of their hard-earned money.

I’m glad to say that – by making Republican economic policies law – we truly advanced an agenda that prioritized affordability for Iowans over more government bloat and bureaucracy, and we saw the early benefits of our economic plan with the recent announcement that our economy grew 4.3% in the third quarter fueled by consumer confidence.
