I recently appeared on one of my favorite shows: Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
I went on that show because millions of people who don’t watch cable news, don’t follow politics on Twitter, and don’t tune into Sunday shows are still paying attention to what’s happening in this country. They’re just paying attention in different places.
If Democrats want to win, protect democracy, and beat MAGA extremism, we cannot limit ourselves to the same audiences and the same spaces we’ve always relied on. We have to show up everywhere — even places that don’t look like traditional “political” venues.
That’s how we reach new voters. That’s how we break through the noise. And that’s how we make sure the fight for accountability, truth, and working families isn’t drowned out by outrage merchants and conspiracy theorists.
DONATERepublicans are good at occupying every media space they can find — podcasts, cable shows, social platforms — all while pushing an agenda that protects billionaires, attacks health care, and serves an extremist president.
We can’t cede those spaces to them.
I’m in Congress to fight Trump’s corruption, defend democracy, and deliver real results for working families. And I’m willing to do that fight anywhere people are paying attention — not just where it’s comfortable or familiar.
But expanding the battlefield means expanding our resources.
Thank you,
Robert Garcia
