The BREATHE Act sounds nice, doesn’t it? 

After all, there’s nothing ominous about breathing. But that’s exactly the type of naming we see from the squad and their radical Left allies to hide the real nature of the bills they put forward. 

So what’s really in the BREATHE Act? 

• Eliminating life sentences for the worst criminals
• Ending gang databases which track MS-13 members
• Huge tax increases for what’s being called “universal income”, discouraging work 
• Massive defunding of the men and women of law enforcement

And that’s just the beginning. No bill is ever straightforward or short. 

The BREATHE Act is a direct assault on the safety of law-abiding citizens in favor of mob mentality. It’s a ploy by liberal extremists to take MORE political power. 

In the coming weeks we’ll see Democratic leadership having to make statements on this atrocity of a bill. I can’t wait to see how they spin this.

The absurdity is unmatched. While they do their grandstanding, we need to stand together.
