Hello, John,

After receiving an update from our finance team on the progress toward our December goal, I had to reach out with another humble request for help.

We set our highest online fundraising goal yet in the face of our most important deadline to date: We need to raise $1 million before we file our public report.

But as of today, we’re not halfway to our goal.

Falling behind in a toss-up race like this is not an option, so I am personally asking grassroots supporters to step up. Here is a link where you can split a donation between our campaign and The Majority Rules (please do so before 12/31):

We’re up against a lot right now, not the least of which are the big-money groups my opponent has lined up, ready to spend any amount of money against me.

If we fail to meet our own targets this month, we’d provide our opponents with an opportunity to take the momentum away.

It’s a toss-up race right now, John. We need to keep it that way. We need the resources to take on anything the far-right throws our way.

Please — split an investment of any amount between our campaign and The Majority Rules that is right for you before our December 31st deadline. I can’t do it without you.

This year is going to be huge in the fight for fair elections! We have seen that voting rights and the integrity of our elections continue to be under attack. Some candidates and organizations have continued to use shady, undemocratic tactics to suppress voters. It's time to fight back!
