Greetings from Ukraine.

I hope you’re staying healthy and warm this time of year. Winter has certainly arrived here in Ukraine, where I work for Mercy Corps as Humanitarian Program Coordinator.

We are now entering our fourth full winter of war, and people are still struggling to get by. Bombs continue to fall. Infrastructure continues to be destroyed. People are being injured and killed. Incomes have vanished, and fuel is harder to find — yet the cold persists.

So today I am hoping that Mercy Corps supporters like you can make a generous gift to provide warmth to so many people in need — here in Ukraine and in communities around the world.

If you give today, your support will go twice as far thanks to our Matching Gift Challenge. Please don’t hesitate — so many people are counting on the assistance we provide together.

I have seen firsthand the impact that generous contributions from donors like you can make.

I’ve witnessed small business owners keep their livelihoods thanks to Mercy Corps’ grants and assistance.

I’ve seen young children smile and play in Mercy Corps shelters during blackouts, and parents receive critical psychological support so they can give their kids everything they need.

Your giving during this year-end Matching Gift Challenge provides critical resources needed here in Ukraine and by teams working in crisis zones across the globe.

Please, make a matching contribution right now and help create double the impact for families in need.

Our team in Ukraine sends our gratitude for the support you provide,

Mariia Zagoskina
