There are only a few days left to enjoy Winter Wonderland! Blow away the Christmas cobwebs and take in the cold December air as you whizz around Old Market Square on the Sky Skate Ice Path.

Don't miss the spectacular family pantomime Cinderella! Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood leads the Theatre Royal panto cast as the Wicked Stepmother, in a production packed with laugh-out-loud comedy, stunning scenery, beautiful costumes and plenty of boos and hisses.
He is joined by Neil Hurst as Buttons and Christina Bianco as The Fairy Godmother, alongside Stephenson Ardern-Sodje as Prince Charming, Daniel Norford as Dandini, Elly Jay as Cinderella, and Britt Lenting and May Tether as the Wicked Sisters. Join Cinders as she goes from rags to riches, outwits her very wicked sisters and meets her Prince Charming.

Outraged at not being invited to the Princess’s party, the evil Maleficent casts a spell that sends the Princess and her whole kingdom into a deep sleep, when she pricks her finger on an enchanted spinning wheel. As they snooze, a tangled forest springs up around them. Only one thing can break the curse - the magic of true love! Enter the Prince, who must battle through the thorns, and work with the Princess to defeat the wicked fairy.
It’s going to be panto pandemonium in a show bursting with jaw-dropping costumes, dazzling effects, and sprinkled with magical mayhem. Comedy chaos will be provided by Nottingham’s favourite panto dame John Elkington in this festive spectacular beyond your wildest dreams!

Join Sinfonia Viva for their dazzling NYE Gala, a Nottingham tradition for nearly 30 years. Before the orchestra performs traditional New Year waltzes and a heartfelt Auld Lang Syne, you will hear magical music including The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Tchaikovsky’s dancing swans, Stravinsky’s mythical Firebird and some wandering spoons courtesy of Vaughan Williams.
The special guest is star Nottingham pianist, Konya Kanneh-Mason, performing Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2 (Movements 1 & 2), which featured in the Disney sequel Fantasia 2000. This lush, romantic piece is one of the nation’s favourites.
