Dear Friends,

As we come together to celebrate this special time of year, Lorena and I want to extend our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones during this holiday season.

I would also like to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to our military service members, first responders, and essential workers who do so much to make sure that South Texans continue to feel safe and protected.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Warm regards,

ICYMI: House Passes Congressman Gonzalez’s Bill to Give Small Businesses a Seat at the Table

WATCH HERE

GREAT NEWS: My bill, the Advocating for Small Business Act, was included in a wide-ranging legislative package to empower entrepreneurs and small businesses that passed the House on December 11th!

Small businesses are the backbone of America and create two out of every three new jobs. But far too often, they face barriers when trying to access capital because the rules are designed with only large firms in mind.

Now, we are one step closer to requiring the Securities and Exchange Commission to establish Offices of Small Business within each of their divisions, making federal regulators more responsive and accessible to our entrepreneurs.
