“Share A Blessing!”

Share a blessing at Christmas!
It’s a time to be grateful,
To be cheerful in the rush,
And even bless the hateful.

Share Jesus’ love this time of year,
In ways of consideration,
Not just with those you hold dear,
But with ones who cause frustration.

That’s a tall order to be sure,
Nerves are frayed in all directions.
It’s getting harder to endure,
The evil manifestations.

All more reasons to be kinder,
To those you meet in the street,
Or those working at the counter,
Spending long hours on their feet.

Concentrate on Jesus’ love,
Let it wash over your soul,
To give you grace from above,
To speak gently yet be bold.

Share a quick blessing with a smile,
Shine with the Everlasting Light.
Even go that extra mile,
To rescue someone from their plight.

Let your presence be a present,
To lift up a lonesome soul,
Even just for a moment,
Kind words never do grow old.

These blessed gifts are everlasting,
When anointed from The Lord,
Unexpected glad tidings,
Could even change somebody’s world.
