============================

Dear NDWA supporter,

For many, the holiday season is full of gathering with family and friends, sharing presents, and reflecting on the year that’s been. But most domestic workers don’t make enough to give their families the holidays they deserve.

2025 has been especially challenging as the Trump administration and Congress has targeted our communities, tearing countless families apart and gutting the health care system that provides us both our care and our source of income.

That’s why we’ve created the Season of Giving Fund : to work towards a world where domestic workers can celebrate the holidays without worry and to power our campaigns to improve working conditions and economic security for workers across the country.

This holiday season, we know that being generous and compassionate goes a very long way. Can you make a donation today to the Season of Giving Fund to support our campaigns, including fighting to raise wages, put worker protections in place, and address wage theft? [[link removed]]

Right now, domestic workers — nannies, housecleaners, and direct care workers — are among those most at risk because of who we are and what we do: we are women (mostly women of color, immigrants, mothers, and low-wage workers).

The work of domestic workers holds families and homes together but it often doesn’t pay for presents, food, and the extras that are nice to have during the holidays.

The critical workers at the center of our economy and communities – who do the work that makes everything else possible – shouldn’t have to make impossible financial decisions ever, and especially during the holiday season.

The Season of Giving Fund is an opportunity to secure resources now in order to make the holidays a little bit more special in the future.

Can you donate now to the Season of Giving Fund to fuel our campaigns to protect our health care and help bring security to our communities in the face of the Trump Administration’s attempts to rip apart our families? [[link removed]]

Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali, Ramadan, or another holiday — thank you for your generosity to make the future brighter for domestic workers for many holiday seasons to come.

P.S. - Every dollar we raise this month is being matched by a donor up to $25,000. This isn’t a fake match like you see in too many fundraising emails these days—5x/10x/20x! It’s a real 1:1 match. If you donate $25, it becomes $50 because of a wonderful NDWA donor. Please give as generously as you can knowing that your impact will be doubled. [[link removed]]
