The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) presents the Waste Webinar Series. This series, first recorded in 2016, then refreshed in 2020 and 2023, provides valuable information from EGLE inspection staff. 

Join us and share with others who could benefit from quickly learning compliance details.  Environmental compliance professionals are encouraged to:

Learn about the regulations that apply when transporting hazardous waste and liquid industrial by-products in Michigan. In this webinar attendees will learn who has to obtain a permit and registration from EGLE, and maintain spill insurance for transporting these wastes streams. This session will also cover how the shipments must be documented by  all  those handling the waste streams (the generator, transporter, and disposal facility) and the records an inspector will request when performing an inspection.
