Maersk, the global shipping giant, is sustaining Israel’s weapons pipeline
— even after the ceasefire.
With its Annual General Meeting approaching, we need to ramp up pressure
and stop these shipments for good.

John,
Despite the "ceasefire", Israeli forces shot at and crushed a 16-year-old
Palestinian boy named Zaher Shamiya. A tank rolled over his body,
splitting it in two.
Every week, shipping giant Maersk is funneling thousands of tonnes of
ammunition and weapon components to carry out these atrocities, all while
the world looks away.
But our pressure on Maersk is working. Earlier this year, we helped force
Maersk to stop shipping goods to and from illegal Israeli settlements — a
major step in cutting off Israel's occupation economy.
Now, with its Annual General Meeting approaching, all eyes are on Maersk's
weapons shipments. Let's do what we did before and force the company to
stop fueling Israel's war machine.

Maersk, headquartered in Denmark, is one of the biggest shipping companies
on the planet — and it works hard to project an image of responsibility
and human rights. But behind its branding, Maersk is still the main
transport company powering Israel’s war machine.
Brand new investigations uncovered that Maersk continues to ship Israel’s
military Merkava tank parts, fighter jet components, ammunition, and
armored vehicles across Maersk’s maritime supply chain.
Our movement has already shown that Maersk responds when people everywhere
speak out. Earlier this year, we challenged the company at its annual
shareholder meeting and exposed its role in facilitating Israel’s violence
-- forcing its leaders into the global spotlight.
Because of that pressure and relentless global campaigning, Maersk shifted
its position — it can shift again. If we come together now, we can push
Maersk to finally break from this deadly trade.
