As this year draws to a close, I want to take a moment to share something that has reinforced my sense of hope.
Over the past year, Win the Era has received more than 200,000 grassroots contributions. That means 200,000 moments when someone chose to invest – not just in an organization, but in a vision of what our democracy can be when it’s rooted in decency, responsibility, and the belief that politics is about making everyday life better.
Every one of those contributions represents a choice.
Choosing to push back against the forces that profit from division.
Choosing to believe that progress still comes from engaging others.
Choosing to support a politics focusing on solutions, not spectacle.
This is about much more than a number on a report. It reflects a growing community – people across the country who believe our politics can still be hopeful without being naïve, responsible without being dull, and effective without losing sight of our values.
That belief is what allows Win the Era to do its work: lifting up candidates who approach public service with seriousness and care, helping them reach voters in places that are too often written off, and building the long-term foundation needed to strengthen our democracy for the years ahead.
As we close out the year, we’re aiming to reach 250,000 grassroots contributions. Hitting that mark would further demonstrate the level of support we have built for a different kind of politics – and leadership.
