It's official — Gov. Andy Beshear is now the Chair of the Democratic Governors Association!

That means he's stepping into one of the most important roles in Democratic politics: Making sure more Democratic Governors are elected to lead states across the country with common sense.

That's no small task.

As Chair, Andy will be helping to reelect Democratic Governors who are already serving their states, electing new Democratic Governors in states with retiring incumbents, and working to flip governor’s seats in states currently led by Republicans.

That means supporting strong, principled candidates who will lead with dignity and respect for their people and fighting to protect Democratic incumbents that the GOP will be doing everything in its power to kick out of office.

He’ll be making sure Democrats stay focused on what matters most: Listening to voters, solving real problems, and delivering ideas and solutions that actually improve people's lives.

Andy is excited to take on this new responsibility, but his work with In This Together PAC isn't slowing down, not for a minute. Because while he's helping Democrats win in gubernatorial races nationwide, we're still laser-focused on supporting candidates in tough districts up and down the ballot who are committed to making life better for the people they represent.
