Team,

People often ask why I'd leave the Senate to serve as governor of Colorado. It's simple: to best protect Colorado from Trump and MAGA Republicans' destruction, and to make it the best state to live, work and raise a family.

And despite what the GOP would have you believe, I'm really not talking about anything crazy.

I think it’s reasonable that if a person works hard, it should pave the way to an affordable and secure middle-class life within their own lifetimes and afford their children even better opportunities.

It’s rational that their kids should be able to graduate high school with the 21st-century skills they need to make a good living and continue to reside in their home communities, regardless of whether they get a college degree or not.

It's only right that, in the richest country on earth, access to health care should not rely on zip code, income or job type – and that you shouldn't have to choose between lifesaving prescriptions and groceries.

I believe that we have a responsibility to build opportunity for one another and the next generation. That's not radical, friend. It's in the opening of the Constitution – it's common sense.

I am not running for governor to be courted by industry lobbyists or to see my face on TV. I am running for governor because right now, Colorado faces real challenges – and as long as the GOP holds both majorities in Congress, we can't wait on Washington to deliver the remedies we need. The most effective fixes will have to start here in Colorado, with Coloradans.

So if we're going to make Colorado the best state to live, work and raise a family, then we've got our work cut out for us. It starts with winning this race.

Corporate megadonors don't fund campaigns like ours. They fund politicians who protect their interests – like extremists who stoop to fallacies and fearmongering.

But reaching our $100,000 end-of-quarter goal will allow us to hit the ground running in 2026 with the resources to build a winning campaign. That's why, with our last public fundraising deadline of 2025 just ten days away, I'm humbly asking:

Can you please make a contribution to my campaign to keep us on track to hit our end-of-quarter goal by the Dec. 31 midnight deadline? Together, I know we have what it takes to win this race and build a brighter future for everyone who calls Colorado home – not just the wealthy few.

Thank you for everything you do,

Michael
