John,
As the year draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment before the final push, before the deadlines to simply say thank you.
Thank you for believing that young people deserve more than a seat at the table. Thank you for understanding that the systems affecting youth should be shaped by youth. Thank you for being part of a community that doesn't ask young people to wait their turn.
This year, your support made real things happen:
- Chapter leaders received stipends to sustain their organizing work
- Young people from 10 communities gained the skills to advocate for themselves and their peers
- Youth voices reached legislators who had never heard directly from their young constituents
None of that happens without people like you who decide that youth empowerment & organizing matters.
From all of us at Washington Youth Alliance—our youth board members, our chapter leaders, our staff—we wish you warmth, rest, and connection this holiday season.
If you're able to make a gift before year-end, it would mean the world to us. But more than anything, we're grateful you're here.
With gratitude and hope,
The Washington Youth Alliance Team
