Republicans know that Trump’s reckless tariffs are driving up prices and squeezing families in LA and across the country. Groceries cost more. Household goods cost more. And for working families already stretched thin, every dollar matters.
But instead of owning the damage, Republicans are hiding. This week, they held another closed-door meeting with Trump’s U.S. Trade Representative, Jamieson Greer, shutting out the public and the press. If Trump’s trade agenda was actually helping working families, they’d defend it in the open. I called out this cover-up and demanded Republicans go on the record, because working families deserve answers, not secrecy.
