Folks,

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said on Trump's
push to reopen schools: "The science should not stand in the way
of this."

With COVID-19 cases skyrocketing around the country and no
real plan coming from the federal government to keep kids and
teachers safe, the science is clear: It would be downright
irresponsible to allow schools to reopen without proper
precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Yet Betsy DeVos is demanding that schools open for full-time,
in-person classes. This reckless decision will put students,
teachers, their families, and entire communities at risk.

Sign on if you're with us: Don't reopen schools during
COVID-19!

Teachers, unions, state leaders, education activists, parents -
they all agree that re-opening schools for full-time in-person
learning in the fall would be incredibly dangerous for students
and staff alike.

But Donald Trump and Betsy DeVos are insisting schools hold
in-person classes no matter what, threatening to cut federal
funding from public schools that don't reopen.

For the safety of our kids, teachers, and families, we need to
raise our voices and make sure proper guidelines are in place to
keep our schools safe. Will you sign on and demand our leaders
keep schools closed until it's safe to reopen? →
