In March, we have the chance to stop AIPAC and its far-right,
billionaire-backed network from buying another seat in Congress.

Junaid Ahmed is our eighth 2026 Democratic primary endorsement and the
working-class progressive running for Illinois’ 8th congressional
district.

His top primary opponent is a former corporate-backed congressmember and
AIPAC ally who previously received over $236,000 from the Israel lobby,
according to Open Secrets:

Junaid isn’t taking money from corporate PACs or AIPAC, and their threats
won’t stop him from standing up against the Israeli government in
Washington.

He’s spent his entire adult life advocating for Palestinian rights and
freedom, and firmly believes in:

* An immediate (actual) ceasefire with full humanitarian aid to
Palestinians in Gaza
* An arms embargo to end all US funding to the Israeli military
* Supporting the self-determination and statehood for the Palestinian
people
* An end to the Israeli Occupation of the West Bank and Gaza

We can bet the Israeli lobby will dump even more into this competitive
primary race to try and stop Junaid, which is why we’re counting on your
