As hard as it is to believe, the year is almost over -- and the midterm election year is almost upon us. We have just a few weeks left before this race kicks into high gear.

Setting the tone for 2026 has never been more important. Right now, Republicans in Congress are sitting back and letting healthcare subsidies expire while millions of American families stand to suffer.

That’s unacceptable. It motivates me that much more to push back in Congress -- and while I’m doing everything I can from my position on the Appropriations Committee, it’s clear that the GOP won’t be truly held accountable without the House majority.

It won’t happen unless we hold the line here in CA-49. 30% of this district will be made up of new voters after Prop 50, and we’re racing to reach them with my message before my GOP challenger does.

We can’t back down from this fight, and CA-49 remains one of the most competitive races in the nation. Will you stand with me by chipping in $3 today before the final FEC deadline of the year?
