Dear John,
I am delighted that Rowan from Coldstream Primary School has won our Christmas Card Competition.
The Christmas Card has now been sent to hundreds of local people, and Rowan's design was chosen following a public vote by over a thousand local residents from across the Scottish Borders.
Last week, Rachael Hamilton MSP and I visited Coldstream Primary School to present Rowan with a certificate, gift voucher and a Parliament teddy bear.
Rowan's winning design will even be made into a bespoke glass keepsake by Harestanes Glass Studio.
