Key Wins For Indiana In FY26 NDAA

This week, I proudly voted to pass the FY2026 NDAA delivering key investments in Indiana that I fought to secure. These wins strengthen our military, support Hoosier job growth, and ensure Indiana remains a leader in national defense and technological innovation. Click here to learn more.

The Trump Admin Is Protecting American Families

Image

I participated in a classified briefing with Secretary Hegseth and Secretary Rubio this week and I can tell you this: Secretary Hegseth is doing an incredible job executing President Trump’s strategy to stop deadly drugs from flooding into the country. President Trump is saving American lives.

Just yesterday, President Trump made the decision to label fentanyl a weapon of mass destruction. I fully support this decision. He is taking the fight directly to deadly narco-terrorists who profit from poisoning Americans.
In 2023 alone, more than 2,000 people in Indiana died from drug overdoses. Fentanyl was the leading killer.

The first bill I introduced as senator was the Countering Beijing’s Weaponization of Fentanyl Act. This bill treats fentanyl and the chemicals used to make it as weapons under U.S. law and sanctions Chinese Communist Party officials who refuse to stop these deadly ingredients from flowing into our country.

President Trump is working to shut down the fentanyl pipeline once and for all. Too many lives have already been lost. I will continue to stand with him to keep these deadly drugs off our streets and protect American families. Click here and click here to learn more.

Worst Of The Worst

Image

Joe Biden let in millions of illegal aliens through his dangerous open border policy.

Violent criminals have been terrorizing America’s streets, including in Indiana.

A new DHS tool allows users to see some of the “worst of the worst” illegal aliens in all 50 states. Here’s a small sampling of the violent criminals taken off the streets of Indiana:

  • Manuel Garcia—Originally from Mexico, he was arrested in Anderson and convicted of rape.
  • Tomas Hernandez-Orzuna—Originally from Mexico, he was arrested in Merrillville and convicted of sexual assault and strongarm rape.
  • Nelson Alvarez-Godoy—Originally from Honduras, he was arrested in Greencastle and convicted of homicide.
  • Van Uk Thawng—Originally from Burma, he was arrested in New Castle and convicted of molestation of a minor and driving under the influence.
  • Djamalou Ousseini—Originally from Niger, he was arrested in Indianapolis and convicted of strongarm rape, assault, and kidnapping.
  • Richardson Neptune—Originally from Haiti, he was arrested in Indianapolis and convicted of kidnapping.
  • Pablo Cocuyo—Originally from Mexico, he was arrested in Bunker Hill and convicted of several counts of burglary.
  • Erick Rodriguez-Ortiz—Originally from El Salvador, he was arrested in Washington and convicted of larceny, intimidation, privacy invasion and possession of amphetamines.
  • Denny Perez Cardenas—Originally from Cuba, he was arrested in Plymouth and convicted of failure to register as a sex offender, molestation of a minor, enticement of a minor for indecent purposes, and vehicle theft.
  • Emiliano Jesus Molina Gutierrez—Originally from Mexico, he was arrested in Indianapolis and convicted of making terroristic threats and escaping from custody

These violent criminals have no business being in Indiana and I will continue to support President Trump in his efforts to deport all illegal aliens from our country.
