When President Trump and the Republicans in Congress slashed funding for Planned Parenthood in the Big Ugly Bill, I got to work with state lawmakers. We swiftly allocated an emergency $7.5 million to defend the care that tens of thousands of Oregonians deserve and depend on.

Reproductive rights and life-saving care go hand in hand. Without Planned Parenthood, cancer screenings, STI testing, and essential reproductive health services will be out of reach for too many people.
