Dear A.,
Moments ago, the Senate passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), the major defense bill that includes nearly $700 million for U.S.-Israel programs that will help keep Israel safe and America strong.
This follows the House's passage of the NDAA last week, and the bill will now be sent to the president's desk.

This is a major accomplishment that you helped make possible through your support of AIPAC. In an increasingly polarized political environment, your support helped ensure these critical pro-Israel measures moved forward on Capitol Hill, for the benefit of Israel and the United States.
Thank you for your commitment.

Iran is still committed to developing nuclear weapons to destroy Israel, the head of Israel's Mossad intelligence agency, David Barnea,

said in a speech this week.
"Iran has not abandoned its ambition to destroy the State of Israel... The idea of continuing to develop a nuclear bomb still beats in their hearts," he said.
"It is our responsibility to ensure that the nuclear project, which has been mortally wounded in close cooperation with the Americans, will never be activated."
Meanwhile,

new reporting sheds light on Israel's "Operation Narnia," the effort to eliminate Iran's top nuclear scientists during the 12-day war with the regime.
As the Israeli Air Force struck nuclear and conventional military sites throughout the country, the Mossad mobilized more than 100 Iranian agents with special weapons to assassinate the regime's nuclear "brain trust." Israel succeeded in eliminating 11 key figures.
"One of the major considerations for the planning of Operation Narnia was to try to minimize as much as possible the collateral damage," a senior Israeli military intelligence officer also told The Washington Post.

The IDF continued to

engage in military operations to enforce the ceasefire in Gaza this week, eliminating multiple terrorists over the past couple of days who attempted to cross the Yellow Line.
This follows the strike on Saturday, in response to another Hamas violation, in which Israel eliminated Ra’ad Sa’ad, a top Hamas terrorist involved in the planning of the October 7 massacre.
Meanwhile, IDF soldiers operating along the ceasefire line in Rafah in southern Gaza on Monday

seized Hamas weapons and surveillance equipment, and dismantled several terrorist infrastructure sites.
Hamas is working to rebuild and reinforce its control over its half of Gaza, and has failed to turn over the body of Ran Gvili, the final remaining hostage.
The United States must increase the pressure on Hamas and its sponsors in Turkey, Qatar and Iran to fully comply with the ceasefire agreement, give up power, and release the last hostage's body.
Germany to expand Arrow missile defense deal
The German parliament has approved a $3.1 billion expansion to its existing Arrow 3 missile defense deal with Israel, the Israeli Ministry of Defense
[link removed]
said today .
Israel delivered the Arrow 3 system to Germany this month, completing the previous $3.5 billion agreement to help bolster Germany's missile defense systems.
Once the expansion is signed, it will be the largest-ever Israeli defense export deal in the country's history.
Congress has provided at least $4.8 billion in funding for the Arrow system since 1990, which AIPAC has played a key role in securing.
The U.S.-Israel partnership helps keep both nations and our other allies safe, and ensures America has access to the most advanced, battle-tested technology to protect our troops and homeland.
