North Florida Sales goes green

Beer distributors are committed to minimizing their carbon footprint by adding green initiatives. Earlier this year, North Florida Sales converted 25 vehicles in its fleet to electric – the result is the equivalent of saving 60,000 trees. Watch this short clip to hear more about their efforts.

New technology: paper bottles

To minimize plastic packaging, beverage companies have been seeking out alternatives but developing a paper bottle hasn't been easy. Pulpex Limited developed a new bottle made with sustainably sourced pulp for food-safe standards and is also intended to be fully recyclable in standard waste streams. Diageo, Unilever and PepsiCo will be testing the new technology next year.
