Here’s an update from our campaign:

Protecting Taxpayer Money

On Friday, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) sent a letter to Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) demanding answers as to how MCTS plans to end fare evasion and protect taxpayer dollars.

I previously wrote to Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and FTA Administrator Molinaro asking that they conduct oversight over these programs.

The Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) reportedly allowed more than 8 million ([link removed]) riders to evade fares. Fare evasion cost MCTS more than $10 million ([link removed]) , almost its total operating deficit.

This is wrong and harms the taxpayers helping fund this system. It is also fundamentally unfair to the hardworking families who use the system, follow the rules, and pay their fair share.

MCTS receives roughly $57 million in federal funding annually. We need federal oversight to ensure taxpayer dollars are being used appropriately.

I also introduced legislation to ensure local transit agencies collect fares. The No Free Rides Act requires local transit agencies like MCTS to enforce fare collection in order to receive federal transportation funding.

Every taxpayer dollar should be protected. I look forward to working with the Trump Administration to end waste, fraud, and abuse.

Radicals Dominate Democrat Policies

Radicals continue to dominate the Democrat Party.
* Democrats shut down ([link removed]) the government to appease their radical base
* Socialist Zohran Mamdani, endorsed by Democrat leaders ([link removed]) , won the NYC mayoral election
* The Left is pushing for Green New Deal policies, driving up energy costs ([link removed]) , and opposing our work to unleash American energy
* Radicals running for office in Wisconsin are pushing to abolish ICE ([link removed])

These policies will make life less affordable for working families and risk the safety of our communities.

While the Left pushes for open borders, Green New Deal policies, and government control, I will continue fighting for working families and seniors including:
* Making Tax Cuts ([link removed]) permanent to make life more affordable
* Increasing and made permanent the child tax credit to $2,200
* New $6,000 senior tax credit
* Reducing taxes on tips and overtime
* Ensure states verify Medicaid recipients eligibility at least twice a year to reduce waste, fraud, and abuse
* Requiring able-bodied adults without young children to work 20 hours a week to continue receiving government benefits
* Delivering the largest tax relief in history
