Dear John,
Every fall after the annual festival, the Farm Aid staff comes together to read through grant applications from farm and food organizations across the country. These groups are longtime allies and new partners in the farm movement, 1-800-FARM-AID hotline referrals and organizations in our Farmer Resource Network. All of them work tirelessly every day to strengthen family farmers.
Earlier this month, Farm Aid awarded $1.3 million to 106 partners working across the farm movement to keep family farmers on the land producing good food for all, supporting farmers affected by emergencies and natural disasters, elevating the voices of our farmer leaders and providing scholarships to university students studying agriculture. Just as he has since we began making grants, Farm Aid President Willie Nelson personally signed each and every check sent to our grantees.
DONATE NOW TO STRENGTHEN FAMILY FARMERS [[link removed]]
Since 1985, Farm Aid has granted more than $32 million to more than 300 organizations around the country. We're proud to have provided critical funds, which organizations like these have relied upon for 40 years.
Farm Aid grants allow these organizations — and the family farmers they serve — to grow the good food we all depend on, take care of our soil and water and strengthen our communities. The impact of our grant program is possible because of your support. Won't you please make a gift now [[link removed]] to show your commitment to family farmers and the organizations that stand with them?
The generosity of people just like you ensures that Farm Aid can bolster our partners and be here for family farmers. With your gift today [[link removed]], we'll continue to sustain this vital work long into the future. Together, we can build a future of agriculture that serves us all!
Best wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season,
Steve Snyder
