Senate Republicans voted down a bill that would extend Affordable Care Act subsidies by three years. This bill would’ve prevented health care premiums from dramatically jumping for middle-class families, small business owners, and seniors under 65 at the start of the new year.

The consequences of this are severe and far-reaching.

In California, over 2.3 million people are set to see soaring premiums — and here in California’s 6th District, the benchmark plan for a 60-year-old person is set to increase by 205%!

This is a manufactured crisis and the blame lies solely with President Trump and his Republican allies in Congress.
