Records Law lawsuit against the City of Boston for details about a press

Two Sanctuary States Release Nearly 9,000 Criminal
Aliens with ICE Detainers Since January
The Trump administration’s
crackdown on illegal immigration has made great strides in a short time,
but over a dozen states are making the effort more difficult by offering
illegal aliens—even those convicted of serious crimes—sanctuary. Just
two of those states, New York and Illinois, have released nearly 9,000
criminal aliens from jails and prisons since January 20, defying
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers to deport them. Among
the offenders protected by the sanctuary policies are murderers,
terrorists, sexual predators and kidnappers, the Department of Homeland
Security (DHS) confirms this month.

Illegal
Alien Superintendent’s Voter Registration Docs Deepen Need For Better
Vetting
The Federalist
The
illegal alien who ran Iowa’s largest public school district before being
apprehended by ICE claimed to be a U.S. citizen on his Maryland voter
registration forms, according to records obtained by
the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF).
Earlier this year, a federal judge struck down a Board of
Elections rule that “restricted and criminalized the use of voter
registration lists for voter fraud and other ‘investigations,’”
Judicial Watch reported. Maryland elections officials released
Roberts’ records to PILF and other watchdogs in October, but the
documents were heavily redacted — including the illegal
immigrant’s response to the U.S. citizenship status question.

Socialist
group ‘By Any Means Necessary’ escalates campaign to ‘stop’ Turning
Point USA
Fox News
In a
Sunday afternoon meeting called a “tribunal,” Yvette Felarca, a
Berkeley, Calif., public school teacher and a local fixture among
self-professed “anti-fascist” agitators, joyfully led about 40 members
of the socialist organization By Any Means Necessary (BAMN) in an
after-action report on the group’s “victory” last week in a bloody
battle at the University of California, Berkeley against supporters of
Turning Point USA.
In April 2019, a judge ordered Felarca to pay the organization,
Judicial Watch, $20,000 in legal fees for challenging a public records
request that Judicial Watch had filed in 2017 with Berkeley Unified
School District, seeking all emails related to Felaraca and the words
“antifa” and “BAMN,” the acronym for “By Any Means
Necessary.”
