With our most recent count totaling just over $50,000, we are inching closer to our goal of raising $150,000 by January 1, but still have a ways to go.

2026 will be FAIR’s 40th year. Because of our generous donors, we have been a consistent and authoritative voice in correcting corporate media misinformation since the very beginning. Building on our decades of tracking the corporate press and its moneyed interests, we are uniquely suited to meet this critical moment.

A dire lack of media literacy got us here—but we believe making truth accessible to all is the antidote.

While the Trump administration continues attacking press freedom and ignoring the rule of law, we remain nimble and dedicated to setting the record straight.

FAIR is working to close a significant gap in fundraising we’ve sustained since the pandemic. We keep our budget bare bones with a small but scrappy staff. Our expenses have remained relatively stable, but we need to increase our income to continue confidently operating at our current capacity.

That’s why every dollar counts. The vast majority of our revenue goes straight to our programmatic work; we keep our fundraising and administrative costs to a minimum.
