Over the last few weeks, Donald Trump has been stoking military conflict with Venezuela – bombing unarmed boats in the Caribbean, staging war ships off the coast, and seizing an oil tanker — all without any congressional authorization .

Trump’s reckless warmongering has nothing to do with stopping drugs or keeping Americans safe. It’s dangerous, self-serving, and blatantly illegal without approval from Congress.

That’s why I’m teaming up with Republican Rep. Thomas Massie and Democratic Rep. Jim McGovern to introduce a new War Powers Resolution that will FORCE A VOTE to block Trump’s escalations against Venezuela.
