Tomorrow marks our mid-month fundraising deadline, and what we raise now will determine how strong we start 2026. Meeting every goal is crucial if we want to turn opportunities into victories across Texas.
Right now, Democrats have a real chance to flip seats and build momentum up and down the ballot—but only if we have the resources to organize, mobilize, and fight. These opportunities won’t wait for us, and we can’t afford to miss them.
Take Senate District 9 as a perfect example. Democrat Taylor Rehmet—a union leader, veteran, and lifelong Texan—has forced a competitive runoff in a district Trump won by more than 17 points last year. Taylor grew up in this district, lives the values of hard work and community, and knows the issues that matter to everyday Texans. Last month, he finished ahead of two Republicans with 48% of the vote, proving that voters are ready for leaders who actually represent them.
This isn’t just one bright spot. It’s one of many opportunities across Texas where Democrats can fight back and win. But victories like this don’t happen on their own. They require a strong, organized effort and the resources to match. Every dollar we raise now ensures we can support candidates like Taylor, reach voters, register new ones, and turn promising opportunities into real wins.
But we can only seize these opportunities if we hit our fundraising goals and keep building the momentum we need.
